Thank You, Witches, for another magickal year of Witch Fest!

Here's some of my highlights from this year’s Witch Fest:

  1.  We welcomed Witches who traveled from as far as Texas and California, along with those who drove from the remote corners of Idaho, including Salmon, Moscow, and Sandpoint, to join us for this weekend's event.

  2.  I’m thrilled that we chose to hold the Ancestor Ritual as a separate event on a different night from the Ball. We were able to fully immerse ourselves in the experience of connecting with our Ancestors and Beloved Dead.

  3.  The raffle prizes are always fantastic at this event, but this year they were particularly outstanding, thanks in large part to the generous contributions from Crow Lake and our Market vendors. Their gifts truly made this event extra special.

  4.  Our Best Broom award went to Lozanna this year!

  5.  Our Best Hat award was presented to JoCee!

  6.  We had NO protestors this year!!!

  7. I always enter the raffles but almost never ever win them UNTIL THIS YEAR and I won two, some goodies from Luna Lush and the handcrafted Victorian-gothic purple lamp from Crow Lake! 💜🤩

  8. The Ball was an absolute blast – David finally hit the dance floor with me and grooved to several of my favorite tunes, including Pink Pony Club and Dancing Queen, which turned out to be the highlight of my night!

My heart is overflowing—thank you, Witches, for an absolutely enchanting weekend!

Acknowledgments

  • First and foremost, thank you to everyone who generously contributed items for our raffles and giveaways this year: Luna Lush Alchemy, Moon Kissed Magick, PS It’s Your Life, Intrigue and Entropy, Crafty Dragon, Enchantsy 3D, Kelsey Rain Hypnotherapy, Down the DIY Rabbit Hole, Cheyenne, Sage & Crow, Winterblade Books, Llewellyn, Magic Tea House, Triple Goddess Mercantile, and Crow Lake. Please go show them some love on their social media and shops!

  • Next, I want to extend my deepest gratitude to my husband for all the behind-the-scenes work you do to help make this event a reality every year. I love you so much. Thank you for the unwavering support and encouragement you've given me to pursue my dreams.

  • A heartfelt thanks goes out to our volunteers and organizers, the dedicated Witches who plan, design, and tirelessly contribute to make these events possible. I couldn’t do this without Cheyenne, Lori, Roxxane, David, Justus, and Nichole.

  • I also want to express my appreciation to our venue and its staff for their warm welcome and professionalism. A special shout-out to Sladjana, Chris, and Erika for all their support in making us feel at home. They have truly made our experience this year magickal, and we are grateful to be back for our final celebration.

  • Lastly, I want to thank everyone who purchased a ticket for this year's event and those who have supported us throughout the years. As many of you know, this will be our last year—at least for the next few years, and perhaps ever. My heart overflows with love for all of you and the love and warmth you’ve shown me and this community. While this may be our finale, it is certainly not the end; we have more work ahead, and I hope you will join me on that journey. I feel truly blessed to know you and am excited for what the next chapter holds.

What's Next:

Our Witch Fest Facebook Group will soon evolve into an online community, based on everyone’s feedback from our poll earlier this year.

NEEDED: We are looking for group moderators who can assist in managing the Facebook group and providing guidance for its future direction. If you're interested in joining the team, please reach out to me on Facebook or email.

If you want to participate in my political projects or collaborate on something new, don't hesitate to email me, and let’s talk! Currently, we have a new weekly-ish podcast titled Coven and Country: The Enchanted Resistance, where Idaho Witches discuss politics.

SEEKING: We would love to bring in more Witches who are knowledgeable and discerning from Idaho who can contribute a brief segment of the podcast each week (2-4 minutes).

Additionally, I am dedicated to combating Christian Nationalism and religious extremism here in the Magic Valley and throughout Idaho, and I would love to connect with fellow activists and Witches who share this passion so we can work together and broaden our impact.

Sending you all love and blessings in Dark and Light,
